A total classic scene that doesn’t get old. I love the brevity and clarity. It’s truly moving.
I’m quite looking forward to Blade Runner 2049. 🙂

I love this scene in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. It’s the strangest way to deliver a coded message.
“A blue rose?”
“Good. But I can’t tell you about that.”
David Lynch is the master of intensity, and this scene proves it.
There was a stillness.
The sound design in this scene totally makes it. And Ray Wise’s performance as Leland Palmer is brilliant. I think he’s one of the great underrated actors.
Also, Lynch’s seeming obsession with the elderly walking slowly never gets old.
Henry (Jack Nance) staring in David Lynch’s Eraserhead (1977).
This shot is so iconic. I absolutely love the texture in the background and Jack Nance’s hair. It’s the right amount of unsettling.
